Mission

Our goal is simple: to create an environment that nurtures community, creativity, and collaboration.

Big festivals have their place, but Bass & Grass is about intimacy (think family gathering, crazy uncle included). No corporate sponsors, no competing stages, no shoulder-to-shoulder chaos. Just good people, great food, and music at the center of it all. From porch picking circles to barnyard performances to late-night jams by the fire. Music percolates and resonates all weekend.

History

The Green Bell venue sits on the historic Malatchie Farms, a sixth-generation family property in middle Georgia. Once home to timber, pecan groves, cattle, and row crops, the land has long been a gathering place for work, play, and community.

Today, The Green Bell carries on that legacy as a welcoming retreat surrounded by natural beauty, where music, food, and friendship feel right at home.
